About Us
CrossBorder Films is a London-based boutique sales studio and production company founded in 2025 by producer and screenwriter Alla May. Built on nearly two decades of experience across the European film and television landscape, CrossBorder champions distinctive stories with cultural specificity and global emotional pull.
Alla has over 18 years of experience producing scripted projects across the UK, the Nordics, Russia, and the Baltics, and has collaborated with established companies including Evil Doghouse and Amedia. This multi-territory background shapes CrossBorder’s international perspective and a practical understanding of how films are packaged, positioned, and sold across different markets.
As a sales partner, CrossBorder Films is genre-agnostic and curation-led. We seek out bold filmmaking and hidden gems, projects that might be overlooked without focused championing, and represent films from all over the world. Our approach is hands-on and tailored: we work closely with filmmakers to sharpen positioning, define audiences, and build materials that sell, then take a targeted, relationship-driven approach to buyers and platforms. From strategy and packaging to market presence and deal-making, we give each title the attention it needs to break through and connect with the right audience across borders.

ALLA MAY
Executive Producer
Alla May is a London-based screenwriter, creative producer, and founder of Cross Border Films.
She previously held senior development roles at Evil Doghouse, MediaCo and Amedia (part of the Access Entertainment group), working across international projects and acclaimed series including The Moon, Eve Is Gone and Battle. She also created and commissioned the series Rails for Endemol Shine in Russia.
After years shaping stories behind the scenes, Alla launched her own creative path as a screenwriter and executive producer, founding Cross Border Films to develop original stories with international ambition and cultural depth.
Alla holds a Master’s degree in Screenwriting (with Distinction) from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a BA in Documentary Journalism (Dean’s List) from LIU in New York City.

Producer
Olga Paraskevova was founder of a neuromarketing agency focused on visual communication and commercials. Olga has always been drawn to compelling imagery and storytelling. She later studied filmmaking at the London Film Academy, bringing together strategic insight and creative passion in her work.
